Here at Massage Medley your well-being is my top priority. That’s why when you are on the table, I will check to make sure that your pain level doesn’t go beyond a comfortable state. When getting a deep therapeutic massage there could be times that you get a “feel good pain.” Please check in if it goes beyond comfortable to prevent further damage to the tissue. Deep tissue massages shouldn’t take your breath away or make you feel nauseous while being worked on.
Therapeutic Massage
Therapeutic Massage aims to relieve tension in the deeper layers of tissue in the body, by releasing chronic stress areas due to misalignment, repetitive motions, and past lingering injuries. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
Headache/ TMJ Relief Massage
Our Headache/TMJ Relief Massage focuses on specific triggers that could be causing your headaches or migraines. If the main problem is in the jaw joint(TMJ) intraoral massage may be needed. Cold stones, warm stones, or a cool face mask could be used during the session to help relieve pain. The therapist will create a customized session to help relieve your pain. Please note that if intraoral massage is needed a Doctors Prescription for TMJ massage maybe needed. Please contact me with any questions.
